Darcy Edwards began
riding at the age of seven with the purchase of her
first pony Fiddlesticks. Since then, she has accumulated
quite an impressive show record, as have her students.
In July 2005 Darcy and her parents purchased Capitan
Equestrian Center located in Lakeside, CA.
She brings with her years of experience and horse knowledge,
having served as Farm Supervisor to the University of
Arizona before returning to San Diego. She has worked
with numerous trainers including Lou Roper and Trish
Nelson, to aid her in her well-rounded horse training
skills.
Although her focus is mainly hunters, she also teaches
western, saddle seat, side saddle, dressage, horsemanship,
showmanship, halter, show hack, sport horse, jumpers,
reining and all the equitation classes in between.
